Janet Varney says seeing Korra portrayed as humanity’s destroyer in ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ left her heartbroken: “I sobbed through this pilot episode. I was shattered. … Watching children talk about her as if she’s a monster was heartbreaking.”

People don't blame Aang for Sozin's actions since he couldn't have anticipated nor stopped them. People blame Korra for Unalaq's actions because she knew he would try to destroy her magic carpet and did nothing to stop him during the fight. Very simple distinction.

This being such good ammo for the Korra defense squad I’m gagging

Amazing. They managed to outdo Korra bending 3 elements whilst still in diapers.

Not a day goes by where I don't half consider removing anything like this from my game. On the one hand, it's purely the player's choice whether they pursue that route... but on the other, everyone and their grandmother are sick of this stuff. ._.

I figured I'd take a break from my Avatar related projects and play some more P5X. And of course, I say that, and one of the translators sneaks in an Avatar reference.

That's nice. So if anyone wants a proper sequel to 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' I'm working on creating my own in the form of an RPG Maker game. Should be ready next year. :^) (Music made by Irene Chan Music) (Art made by Seeunanda)

Korra, in her giga-brained genius, decided to punch a hole in a metal wall she could've very easily just pulled back down.

>First Air-benders had tattoos referencing Raava What mental gymnastics did you perform to come to that conclusion? >Tagah's tattoos reference the spirit staff The tattoo design predates the spirit staff, since air-benders are shown to have the same design prior to its creation.

The "bad writing" thing is getting old now The first airbenders had tattoos referencing Raava bc they didn't have bison to learn from Taaga's tatoos reference the spirit staff where he got his bending Old gen nomads reference the bison bc they are their masters

I don't think unpopular opinions about Korra exist, because no matter what you say, good or bad, a decent chunk of people are going to agree with you. Even my opinion of "Korra and her show should get the Dragonball GT treatment" probably isn't an unpopular one.

Aang being a 'bad father' was a terrible writing choice.
The peoples princess (@ThatoneQueen3) profile pictureThe peoples princess@ThatoneQueen3Apr 13
Story-wise I actually like that Aang wasn’t a great father and passed his (pretty extensive) trauma onto his kids. It’s consistent with his character. It only becomes a problem when it hurts the narrative of other characters in his proximity. Katara for example.
