The actual product and enterprise value is trust, identity, and legal defensibility. It derives its value as being a legally recognized third party trust broker. Essentially a notary public. By necessity a disinterested third party to whatever document is being signed with the sole chain of custody to prove providence and authenticity. That requires both legal status and public trust.
Anyone can add signatures to a PDF. It’s about whether you can prove and defend them in court.

Daily this happens. At this point I just play along and then troll them at the end.
was likely victim of this data breach. got a number of calls from scammers pretending to be coinbase. the scam roughly goes like this
1) they text/call u to tell u ur coinbase account got compromised
2) pretend to do a bunch of a personal info verification, including how much money u have ur the account (so they don't waste time with small accounts)
3) ask u to withdraw ur coins to coinbase self-custodial wallet
4) help u set up the coinbase wallet by giving u a seed phrase
5) once u've made the transfer take all ur coins (as they know the seed phrase)
i called them out at the end of the call telling them they need to step up their game cuz this scam is retarded. they told me that had made $7m that day.
