Darian Mensah was blitzed 8 times Saturday, and finished 6-7 for 58 yards and 2 TD 🏈
The Heisman-favorite has been unreal against blitzes this season, with an FBS-high 15 TD and 0 INT on 58-66 passing (87.9%)!
He has more TD passes vs blitzes then he has incompletions🤯

The Canes win 38-35
They would have lost this game 15/15 times the past 15 years.
Team showed resolve and strength when things didn't go their way.
They made just enough plays to win.
And in the end 1-0 is all that matters.
8-0.
1-0.
Notre Dame next.

Mario Cristobal said yesterday that Miami is trying to eliminate the phrase “For a freshman…”
And it’s why they’ve been churning out True Freshman All-Americans on an assembly line for the past four years.
They’re held to the same standard as the fifth-years and graduate students, and they’re given the same opportunities.
It’s the one of the rare programs that is a true meritocracy.
Miami has shown that freshmen can play right away for the No. 1 team in the country.
