Almost binked the Milly Maker. The pain of Bredia being out there to ice the 'Phins game or Byron Jones' dropped pick six....

Burn it down, it was broken anyways

Watson didnt play great. If someone just wraps up in the backfield everything is probably different. McDermott fooled him on several blitzes. Some questionable coaching on offense, tho. Houston gonna get smashed by Colts. Bills wouldve had a chance next week vs. BAL
There will be enough questions and what-ifs to fill an offseason after that Bills loss. But the game came down to two things: The Texans had the better quarterback, and the Bills didn’t have good enough coaching to make up the difference @TheAthleticBUF theathletic.com/1509902/2020…
Is it just me or is Sherm going on a trump-eque Twitter tirade today while still being the lowest paid DB/CB on the All Pro team save for Humphries who is still on a rookie deal?
Believe in yourself! Never listen to critics who have never accomplished anything outside of criticizing those who have the courage to chase greatness! To risk failure! They are cowards and cowards should never deter you from your goals!
Like this combo of volume at RB and upside at WR with a risky but high ceiling stack with Allen and Brown against a weak secondary on a blitz heavy team. Thoughts?

LOL
.@Lions that was one awful showing @HoustonTexans . What are you trying to be? What have you been working on? You give fans and the @NFL every reason to do “AWAY” with preseason when you put this product on the field. #BaldysBreakdowns

Struggling to find a scouting report on Tavai? Here's one that might make you feel better about it... footballmaven.io/lions/news/…

Fully agree. Still baffles me that the Lions couldn't find a way to scheme up Ebron
Yes, Ebron is the same player that he was with the Lions: A pretty damn good receiving threat. Indy figured out how to use him effectively and often. Detroit didn't. The difference isn't in Ebron. It's in the Colts. That's the cold reality for Lions fans.
Did #Lions save their season or simply delay the enivitable? footballmaven.io/lions/gamed…

By my count, the #Lions went 47 games averaging 2.5 sacks against before these last two, then gave up 16 to the #Vikings and #Bears. Trading Tate had an impact and the coaching staff deserves blame as much as Staffoes does footballmaven.io/lions/gamed…

Some full length quotes from #Lions HC Matt Patricia the day after the Tate Trade:
1
This is true. Guaranteed 3rd vs a maybe 3rd, 4th, 5th or even nothing. Still, one game back in the division, I might take the maybe pick. BQ got good value but there is merit in questioning the move
Replying to @lionsreport
Compensatory pick if they don't add anyone significant - so not guaranteed
1
#Tate played such a unique role that Kenny G and Marvin Jones aren't going to be able to supplement him. Opportunity opens in the slot but can anyone on #Lions roster replace Tate's role?

Dont love the #Tate trade. I get that hes likely gone next year but you could get a 3rd round compensatory anyway so you're just getting a higher pick a year sooner.

Granted it's a coverage sack but that's what stopping the run can help with. Get them into 3rd and longs. #Seahawk had 2 on that drive, #Lions stopped them on the 2nd one
1
I like the move to add Snacks, giving #Lions a dline fully capable of stopping the run. My assessment, tho, is that the LBs are most culpable for the run d struggles. Still, a good move for a player quietly playing great on a bad team

Maaaaan I hope someone gets stiff armed tonight

On a third down from the Packers' three-yard line, this play went for -minus five yards. Bonus points if you spot the open player....
