I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank. The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

As Jasper urged Heidi to run, she gasped “I can’t, let me die.” I may have, too, if I was injured like this at 63. With Jasper’s help she got to Palestinian rescuers. One put this Jewish mother on his back & carried her. I never want to hear “try being Jewish in Ramallah” again.
Latest on Heidi Levine: broken rib, four broken vertebrae, her finger was nearly cut off, multiple potential stabbing wounds. Surgery first thing in the morning.

Just wait until he hears the story of James Donald Bowman. Who came home from school one day and said that now he wants to be James David Hamel. Then he started wearing eye shadow and said he'd rather be called JD Vance. These things happen.
Trump: "We have 5 states where your child goes off to school as Tim and comes back as Tammy 3 or 4 days later. It's true. And teachers make a decision. 'Goodbye Timmy I love you so much, I'll see you later.' And you say, 'Where's my son? My son is in the hospital.' Can you imagine? They don't even need approval"

A reminder that alongside the American journalist, several Palestinians - once again - were attacked by these illegal Israeli settlers
Several Palestinians and an American photojournalist working for the Washington Post were injured after a group of masked Israeli men attacked Palestinians harvesting olives in the West Bank, according to videos, eyewitnesses and Palestinian authorities. cbsn.ws/4yzZBYA

Here’s the American that just got savagely beaten by settlers. Not Heidi Levine—the one from yesterday, Haitham Taysir.
Palestinian-American citizen Haitham Tayseer Abdel Jaber, from the town of Burqa near Ramallah, recounted to MEE a violent assault by Israeli settlers on Thursday which left him with severe injuries.

Israeli settlers, funded and protected by the United States, attacked this female American journalist in her sixties.

It’s bad enough when they tell immigrants to show ‘gratitude’ but now they’re telling a man born in America he should show ‘gratitude’ - what, because he’s a Muslim? Also, it wasn’t El-Sayed who wrote a book complaining about his community and upbringing, it was Vance.
Vance on El-Sayed: You deserve better than a little weasel who should shut his mouth and show a little gratitude to the country that gave him everything

I can’t think of any other place in the world where people can regularly attack American citizens, American journalists, like this and our US political and media elites say nothing. No scandal, no outrage, no calls for action or accountability.
BREAKING: Heidi Levine, a photojournalist working in the occupied West Bank with The Washington Post, has sustained injuries along with several others after being attacked by settlers during a pogrom in the village of Abu Falah. 🔴 LIVE updates: aje.news/teweeb

Today should’ve been our beloved and spectacular colleague Hossam Shabat’s (@HossamShabat) 25th birthday. But Israel assassinated him in March 2025. Hossam did a great service to the world. He sacrificed his life for telling the truth. The world didn’t listen to him.
Today is my beloved big brother’s 25th birthday. Happy birthday Hossam, how I wish you were still here with us. Not a day or moment goes by that your family doesn’t think about you or talk about you, you were our rock. Please don’t forget about my brother, and please do not forget about his family who are all struggling to survive ❤️‍🩹 chuffed.org/project/201638-h…

Tomorrow marks one year since the sham of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza was signed. Sold as a way to halt the Israeli military’s endless killing, the results of this “ceasefire” have been the Israeli military killing or wounding at least one Palestinian every 90 minutes. The Israeli military has killed nearly 1,500 Palestinians since October 10, 2025.

Some who have been following the @israelispeaceny Oct. 7th vigil, and the anti-Mamdani counter-protest there might appreciate this. It's from one of the attendees, claiming that a big group amongst the protesters had no idea they were gonna protest a vigil: Full text below. – at Jersey City, NJ

Yosef Alziadna was one of the great heroes of October 7th. That morning he was asleep in bed when a friend called him to help. Alziadna drove past Be'eri under fire, reached the party grounds and packed 30 people into his 14-seat minibus. Today, the State of Israel destroyed his storage shed and chicken coop, tore out what was left of his nephew's house (the nephew had already knocked it down himself to avoid a forced demolition), and damaged land. This is how Israel treats its Palestinian citizens. No matter how much you serve the Zionist regime, you will remain subhuman to them.

We are a truly evil country. I have no words to describe how disgusted I am to know this was done with my tax dollars and in my name.
For more than two months, I have been working on a truly horrific story about one of the gravest war crimes committed by the United States since Vietnam: The bombing of the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, Iran. It was one of the first targets struck in the opening hours of the war on February 28, 2026. At least 156 people were killed in the U.S. cruise missile strikes—120 of them were children and 26 were teachers. We spoke to survivors, first responders, parents, doctors, teachers, psychologists, and other witnesses. Some of them had never before shared their experiences of that day. It would be impossible to do justice to what happened in Minab that day with words alone. In more than 25 years in journalism and reporting on war, I do not believe I have reported on a more heinous single crime. Massacre at Minab: The School That Became a Grave dropsitenews.com/p/minab-sch… Please share this story with as many people as you can.

On this day 26 years ago, the world watched, as Jamal al-Durrah tried to protect his 12-year-old son Muhammad from Israeli bullets that rained down on them in Gaza for 40 minutes. Despite pleads, Israeli soldiers intentionally shot Muhammad in the stomach- whose final moments of fear and horror were caught on camera and streamed by France TV, and injured his father. Muhammad became the defining and haunting image of the Second Intifada.

The Talmud teaches that anyone who sustains one soul, has sustained an entire world. For generations, Jewish New Yorkers have sustained our city. Today, we are launching the first-ever municipal Strategy to Combat Antisemitism. Together, we will ensure Jewish New Yorkers are safe and celebrated. We will invest in their protection, their history, and their future. Our safety and our thriving are tied together.
