Announcing my book, A Book About Books, available everywhere books are sold March 11, 2025
Very happy to be publishing Tao Lin’s third poetry collection next spring via @LouriaBooks.
New Mall is this Sunday, a summer market showcasing some of LA's most interesting independent creators. I will be here tabling @LouriaBooks & for the first time selling Chloé Happe's DESOLATION E-GIRL and Denzel Rust's MIXTAPE HYPERBOREA in the physical realm
A compelling fall/winter season from @LouriaBooks
As someone who was chronically Online in my younger years, this book struck a chord. Much of my identity and social fulfillment came from internet communities, but at the expense of IRL connection. Eventually I pushed myself to hard reset and refactor my values, a similar journey found in DESOLATION E-GIRL.
And yes this book is gloriously produced; canvas linen, pearlescent foil that shifts with light, a grit-coated dust jacket. Buy book: louriabooks.com/products/deg

"If anyone has the ability to make literature cool among young men again, it might be Denzel Rust."
— Rolling Stone
This was the first audiobook I had the pleasure of producing. Didn't know what I was doing. DT is a consummate professional, and this book is truly enhanced by his sublime oration. I love seeing him read IRL. Now you get to have this incredible work.
I love this book. You'll see it adapted into a ten-episode miniseries by a Ryan Murphy in the 2030's.
Today is the publishing date for @AdemLuz's second edition of Mixtape Hyperborea, a thoughtful and tactile read. The people, the experiences, the camaraderie, the embarrassment, the triumph. The wit of this book is sharp and touching. ORDER NOW
Proud of Denzel and only encouraged to see how his craft will continue to flourish. Crisp prose grounded in true character. Buy book: louriabooks.com/products/mix…

Ten years ago I started the imprint @notacultmedia. Multiple bestsellers, hundreds of shows, thousands of people. Today I am retiring the imprint and continuing the publishing program under @LouriaBooks. The catalog will look similar, though with an expanded genre pool.
There are many reasons behind this decision, but topline, it's in the spirit of growth and service to the titles ahead.
I love publishing books louriabooks.com
Love wins. Thank you Gabi. Thank you all.
So grateful for the indie x traditional hybrid I get to have under my publisher. We get the careful book design and conceptual consideration that indie publishing offers as well as the opportunity to have a packed surround-sound reading at the biggest and most iconic Barnes and Noble in Los Angeles. Thank you @lisidaniel of @notacultmedia for making my book dreams come true two times over without having to compromise my artistic vision, and, for organizing these events that make it all so surreal , so classic, so charged up and memorable.
