really pity those fanbases of characters that are dominated by fujoshis because it is impossible to have any neutral conversation that won't get connected back to the ship. better to love a character less popular than one constantly reduced to no personality outside a ship
i think the reason why i can’t get into the frat boy au is because people tend to white-wash the hell out of the characters and americanize them instead of just doing simple research (it takes less than a minute) and it’s gotten to the point where they’re just an oc now sksdjsjj

It mirrors real life. I have seen friends who live and would die for each other, but the love isn’t ‘real’ unless they are sexually and romantically attracted to each other. Maybe it’s because I fall somewhere on the asexual spectrum, but it’s a foreign thought to me
