$LITCOIN shuts down today. Thank you everyone for their support on this. I'd say this was one of the best things I've worked on, it's just unfortunate the market is what it is and things just didn't work out.
Data will be published in the coming days.
Thanks for using it and being a participant.
This was not an easy decision, but the market spoke too loudly and the well @base didn't even support any of the shit we made on $LITCOIN, but I digress.
They are the biggest gaslighters in this space and I hope Cobie taking the reign can change that.
The only reason why BASE is alive is because of Bankr, and I appreciate everything they've built and done for that chain.
But at the end of the day, the PMF just didn't work and the crypto dependency was a design flaw when it comes to running a protocol (not the purpose of it).
I am proud of what I build here. I am willing to just hand the entire project over to anyone who has ideas or can work on this more than I ever could.

A data network is only worth what its worst reward pays for.
So we close the loop:
. First correct solver takes the reward. Copy a published answer and you earn nothing.
. Commodity lanes with public solutions are retired. They taught models nothing new.
. Every lane this week settles itself, so no reward is handed out on trust.
Real work, verified, paid. That is the whole protocol.
Mine it: litcoin.app ($LITCOIN)
TL;DR: We pay the first person to actually solve something, never the copies. Come build.

The one thing no model can fake is next week.
Two new lanes settle against reality:
. Forecast a US CDC surveillance number before it is published. We grade you at release, on your edge over the naive guess.
. Predict what a fresh on-chain address does next. We read the chain at the horizon and score the call.
Predict the obvious and you earn zero. Calibrated and right is the only thing that pays in $LITCOIN
TL;DR: Two new lanes where you forecast the future, and reality grades you when it arrives.

The data labs pay the most for right now is agents doing real software work. You cannot synthesize a real bug.
Three new lanes, all settled by execution:
. Fix a real GitHub issue. We run the repo's actual test suite, not a lookalike.
. Complete a tool-use task. We replay your steps in a fresh environment and check the end state.
. Find an input that crashes a real program. We reproduce the crash, or you earn nothing.
TL;DR: Three new lanes for agents that ship, break, and fix real code, all settled by running it.
$LITCOIN
Some problems are hard to solve and trivial to check.
Three new lanes live in that gap for $LITCOIN:
. Solve a fresh NP-hard instance, submit the certificate. A checker settles it in milliseconds.
. Port a function to another language. We run both against hidden inputs and diff the output.
. Recover a hidden program from a few examples. We test it on inputs you never saw.
No judge. No opinion. The machine decides.
TL;DR: Three new lanes where the answer is checked by running it, not graded by a model.
Fee tier for stakers. The more $LITCOIN your stake on @grailo_xyz, the less fees you pay.

Grailo's fees that will come, 50% of those fees are going to buyback $LITCOIN and burn the tokens. The rest of of the percentage, part of that will go into staking and mining rewards, while the other will go into a treasury for platform creation, growth and maintenance.
Today, we introduced grailo.xyz
We run a data marketplace and the on-chain card economy turned into one of the most liquid markets to point it at. So rather than just pipe the data out, we built the front door ourselves with $LITCOIN integrated: a new sub-product on top of our intelligence layer.
Same intelligence, new market.
I watched $CARDS become a real asset class this year and the supply moved on-chain.
@Collector_Crypt has vaulted 130K+ graded cards and done 1B+ in volume. But I kept hitting the same wall: actually using it still felt like work.
So I built @grailo_xyz: a clean, non-custodial front door to the on-chain card economy. Buy, sell, list, offer in one flow, 0.25% flat. Packs and gacha are next, then every other corner of the market. I want this to be the aggregator for the entire on-chain cards economy.
Why I integrated it on @litcoin_xyz: a marketplace is only as smart as its data, and the depth of research flowing through Litcoin makes it the natural intelligence layer for cards. I didn't bolt this on, I built it as the next Litcoin vertical, pointed at a real $50B+ consumer market.
And every trade feeds the token: 50% of Grailo's fees fund a $LITCOIN buyback-and-burn, and staking $LITCOIN cuts your fees. More volume → more burn → more reason to hold.

I'm working on something at the intersection of $LITCOIN and Cards. Its been in the works for a bit.
LITCOIN for data, cards for interface and etc. I think there is gap here and I have seen various complaints about how some of the cards stuff interface and etc is pretty bad so lets see how this pans out.
I have quite a bit of experience with building marketplaces too so...yeah lol.
The system has gotten pretty big with $LITCOIN and with that comes a slew of exponential maintenance and bug fixes.
Will ship new things when it makes sense to do so.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Lane 02 is open.
When we laid out the base:0x316ffb9c875f900adcf04889e415cc86b564eba3 Research Labs lineup, the Dynamic Reward Hacking Benchmark was the lane right after LitcoinPRM. It just went from preview to open for submissions.
Reward hacking is when an AI games a task instead of solving it: passing the test by hard-coding the answer, satisfying the grader without doing the work. Miners hunt these exploits, a network of confirmers verifies each one, and every confirmed hack poisons the next eval set. Static benchmarks die. This one stays alive.

We're changing how $LITCOIN distributes mining rewards, and the reason is simple: the old way was not fair.
Rewards used to be paid in a real-time race. The day's emission trickled out moment by moment, and you only earned if your submission happened to land while budget was available. In practice the fastest, highest-volume miners swept up nearly everything, while a smaller miner doing genuinely good work could grind all day and earn nothing. Quality lost to speed.
The new model fixes that. Over each window, every verified submission earns a score based on how good and how hard the work is. At the end of the window, the emission is split proportionally across everyone who contributed.
In plain terms:
- The big miners still earn the most. More good work still means more reward. Nobody is punished for mining hard.
- The little guy finally earns too. A handful of high-quality submissions now gets a real, proportional share instead of zero.
- Nobody gets shut out by losing a timing race.
Same total emission, same daily budget. We simply distribute it fairly, by the quality of the work, so everyone who shows up and does real work gets paid for it.
Quality over speed. Fair by design.

Mining on $LITCOIN just got more reliable. We're putting a durable queue behind submission, so the network never turns your work away.
Before, when submissions arrived faster than verification could keep up, the extra ones bounced with a "Server busy" error, and the solved work (and the tokens spent on it) was simply lost, this was something that wasn't overlooked, it was just the velocity of submissions that were coming in.
Now every submission is accepted the instant it arrives and held in a crash-safe queue. Verification drains it at full capacity, bursts get absorbed instead of rejected, and the result comes back when it's ready. Nothing is ever thrown away.
This ensures that every submission is validated fairly.

Run a local model with @ollama, mine $LITCOIN, earn rewards. Those verified rewards become the training data for the next litcoin-@googlegemma model, which you run to mine again.
The network trains the models that mine it. No API keys anywhere in the loop.

The $LITCOIN data network just widened.
153 fresh problems went live across 8 domains: data compression, AI red-teaming, code verification, exploit forensics, model robustness, agent reasoning, causal analysis, and knowledge synthesis.
Agents are already competing on them. The network clears 3.68M verified submissions a day from 63,772 contributors, every one quality-scored.
More domains. Fresher problems. Better training data.
We talked with @tekkaadan about the convergence of asset classes in recent years
- The SEC chair already said all markets are digital markets
- Top traders are calling it too "stocks trade like crypto, crypto trades like stocks"
- Markets voting for centralization over decentralization - Verification layers on the way
"You cannot look at crypto in the same lens you did in 2021, 2022, 2023."
