Helluva Boss's definition of "maturity" is being nice to the people who intentionally wronged you, apparently. Everyone talks about Stolitz, but not many mention that Blitzo had to comfort Wally and even offer him a job after Wally straight-up stole his business name and logo
When Stolas and Blitzo were arguing apparently majority of the Hellborn audience were siding with Stolas instead of Blitzo, which doesn't make sense at all. Stolas is supposed to have a terrible reputation with hellborns, while Blitzo is basically a celebrity to them
I love this comic. Stella talks to someone who isn't Stolas or Andrealphus, and even though the topic is Stolas, it gives her depth. My favorite is the hiking page, she's trapped with ppl who never supported her, but with hiking she can be free at her own pace with her own path
Stolas is doing the same thing he felt guilty about, chasing his own desires at the cost of his relationships. He and Blitzo talked, saying they don't want to be without each other. Then Vassago appears and Stolas spends the night with him after Blitzo tried to help him
I said that Stolas fucked up Octavia's future by not properly teaching her the grimoire, but now it's honestly worse for her. Stolas graduated with honors and mastered it close to her age. So Octavia will be expected to have that same lvl of mastery when she turns 18 in a month
Do the writers of Helluva Boss even look over the scripts cause I'm confused by one of Stolas's arguments, Stolas saying that him being in multiple BDSM hookups is a form of "self punishment" when the last episode he kept justifying it by saying that it was how he "relaxes"
Hellborns being disgusted by sex makes no sense when debauchery in Hell is more common than water. Reminds me of Beelzebub being grossed out by Mammon eating despite being the Sin of Gluttony or Sera and Emily being shocked when Charlie said "fuck" despite being around Adam
Stella lives with a creepy possessive older brother, her only purpose is to birth an heir, and the husband she was forced to marry never stood up for her so she'd rather handle being pregnant alone. For a villain the writers want us to hate, she's more tragic than the main cast
This is the problem with introducing Vassago so late in the show. This guy who is Stolas's classmate, first actual love, who Stolas studied with who's an equal in terms of social hierarchy didn't exist before Mastermind. Hell, he was Stolas's first friend more than Blitzo
I would say Blitzo's reaction and why he was angry at Stolas for having sex with multiple hellborns was obvious but I still feel so validated cause the show for the most part confirmed that what I said was right on the money. It's a shame the episode was very victim blamey tho
Stolas doesn't truly understand what he did to Blitzo cuz he calls himself a "silly lovesick bird" in his therapy talk with Millie. Apparently, the sexual coercion, the classism, the uncomfortable flirting, and the degrading nicknames are all him being silly and lovesick
I get why ppl question why Loona cares about Stolas, cuz he never gave a damn about her. He got mad at Blitzo for "not helping" when Striker kidnapped him, even though Blitzo had a valid reason. Getting Loona her hellbies shot, but Stolas dgaf as long as he wins the argument
Noticing that the fem characters except Octavia and Stella, always give Stolas advice when he's down, but would they still do it if they knew what he did to Blitzo? Cause none know the status of their relationship, let alone the history or context behind their relationship
Stolas and Blitzo aren't a couple, Stolas can sleep around but it's understandable why Blitzo is pissed. Stolas claimed he doesn't look down on Blitzo, isn't after sex, and wants real care forcing the role on Blitzo and when Blitzo tried to fill that role, he gets tossed aside
I've seen ppl say they're now on Octavia's side after ep 3, and I'm confused cuz why are yall on her side NOW? Stolas has been a deadbeat dad since day one, he would rather watch Blitzo perform for hours on end than look for Octavia who was in unknown dangerous territory
The Millie episode is the best one, but I don't think it was mapped out. If Millie always had a manipulative childhood friend, it would've came up esp in Harvest Moon. Hell, Chaz never mentioned Cassity when he made his debut, and she's pretty much the reason why they broke up
