Polymarket's US business hit all-time highs in every metric this weekend, and became the #3 app in America.
Polymarket US only launched publicly on May 12. Tech is now ready for scale. And scale we shall.
Proud of our exceptional team and the standard they’re setting for market integrity. More to come.
Had a great conversation with Reuters about the work Polymarket's Global Intelligence & Investigations team is doing on market surveillance. 🧵

Polymarket has built the most comprehensive market integrity infrastructure in the prediction market industry, combining strict insider trading rules, AI-powered surveillance, and blockchain forensics into a unified system. 🧵

Every trade & settlement on @Polymarket is recorded on a public blockchain — a level of transparency traditional markets can't match.
Today Polymarket announced it has selected Chainalysis to turn that transparency into the new standard for market integrity 🔗 businesswire.com/news/home/2…

We’re in full support of this.
Our Rulebook & Terms of Service already prohibit such conduct, but codifying this into law is a step forward for the industry.
Happy to help move this forward however we can.

Grateful the DOJ officially acknowledged Polymarket's cooperation on this case.
Noise aside, the reality is we work proactively with all relevant authorities on any suspicious activity on our marketplace. We flagged this, referred it, and cooperated throughout the process. This happens constantly behind the scenes, despite what many are led to believe.
The transparency afforded by onchain markets makes global compliance more effective than ever. Every trade is public, permanent, and auditable. Bad actors leave a trail.
As with any fast growing new space, we're adapting and improving as we go. We appreciate the government's willingness to collaborate, learn, and engage with us to bring justice.
More to come.

Last month, we published our enhanced market integrity rules to combat insider trading.
When we identified a user trading on classified government information, we referred the matter to the DOJ & cooperated with their investigation.
Insider trading has no place on Polymarket. Today's arrest is proof the system works.

In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, we're launching Freedom Watch 🦅
Right now, two bald eagles named Harry & Harriet are taking turns keeping three eggs warm — 200 feet up in a white pine on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Very proud of the team—these new integrity rules and pages simply articulate what we've always believed and enforced. Now it's all in plain view
Today we're publishing new market integrity rules across our CFTC-regulated US exchange & DeFi platform — making clear what's prohibited, how we enforce rules, & how to report suspicious activity.

Excited to announce our partnership with @PalantirTech and TWG AI to build the next generation sports integrity platform.
Some color on why this is significant:
Today, in the state-by-state regulatory framework, leagues have limited visibility into what's happening in their markets, fragmented tooling, and have to choreograph their compliance desires across dozens of state regulators with no unified standard. Additionally, the technology being used is rudimentary compared to what's actually possible.
The shift to a federal regulatory framework is the chance to innovate around the entrenched, fragmented, and antiquated infrastructure and build this the way it should have been built.
Palantir's anomaly detection and data integration is second to none. TWG AI brings deep financial infrastructure and sports expertise, and is owned by TWG, which has ownership stakes in the Lakers, Dodgers, Chelsea, and more. These are the right partners to build something that actually holds up and gets adoption - utilizing our collective domain expertise to build a solution specifically suited for the risk profile of sports markets.
If we do this right, our hope is its use will extend beyond sports prediction markets and be valuable to all stakeholders in the sports ecosystem.
For the love of the game.

Today, we filed a lawsuit in federal court against Massachusetts. Congress gave the CFTC, not states, exclusive authority over event contracts.
These are national markets with critical questions that must be resolved in federal court 🧵

Last week, a Nevada state court ordered Polymarket to halt operations in NV — no notice or opportunity to be heard.
Today, we took that case to federal court.
Congress gave the CFTC, not the states, exclusive jurisdiction over event contracts.
We appreciate the CFTC acting to protect American markets, and we look forward to the federal court's reasoned consideration.
We fight for the users.
