STS off Fujairah and Shinas has well truly dropped, nothing like what had been the case the past weeks.. As a number of sailors and masters we communicate with - mentioned they've chosen to move out of theater and only take a call after mid-terms. Those who were on the fence, got the push they needed to make up their minds when the JMIC advisory landed.

BREAKING: The United Arab Emirates' National Guard says it rescued 22 people from a burning cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman, after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said two oil tankers hit mines near the Strait of Hormuz.

A few things worth pointing out. Since couple of things with CENTCOMs statement and the video don't quite add up. For one the vessel looks very much stationary while it's hit by USN as can seen in the video, likely in anchorage and not sailing. Also it's AIS data does not show it to be laden. The case needs further review.
Ok. So looking at her last 60 days of track and where things get interesting.
10/03 she pulls out of Khor Fakkan anchorage attempting transit out. She's hailed by USN on the 04/10 and she reverses course. She makes a second attempt on the 6th and is again seen to reverse course, this time all the way back to Khor Fakkan anchorage where she's anchored until 9th. She drops off AIS from 09/10 and resurfaces on the 24th morning - laden. Assuming it may have been a PG run to load on something which the USN (may) have tracked her to. She waits at anchor at Sohar and get's terminal call on 31st Oct, discharges her load on 1st Nov and makes an attempt to sail out on 4th Nov, reverse course around Barka 5th morning, likely hailed by USN for a third time. 5th evening she's back in Khor Fakkan anchorage - anchored for all 6th and 7th for when she is struck.
CENTCOM forces disabled a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman, Nov. 7, after the ship’s civilian crew ignored repeated warnings and attempted to violate the naval blockade against Iran multiple times. A U.S. military aircraft fired precision munitions at the stern of St. Kitts-flagged M/V Huda, disabling the ship after CENTCOM forces directed the crew to abandon targeted spaces. The cargo vessel tried to depart regional waters after visiting an Iranian port.

Shippers in talks with US govt for waivers for as many as 50 sanctioned vessels. Given the record charter rates and number of tankers having taken hits in the Hormuz, as well as the Red Sea re-routing for ARAMCO having to sail around Cape - which now takes almost twice as long to Asian markets.
