Why were 23,000 people with no right to be here allowed in and left long enough that deporting them is now a victory lap?
Only 1,000 of those removals were for serious criminality or national security. Meanwhile thousands more with criminal records and active warrants are still free because CBSA can’t find them.
This is Liberal style enforcement. It’s cleanup after years of open borders. Stop the inflow, then you won’t need to brag about the backlog.
