Happy Pride Month! School libraries are a place to support the well being of all students. Books offer "mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors" (Sims Bishop) for students. How are you celebrating Pride Month and supporting students in your LLC?

Count the Canadian books in this Canadian pharmacy chain. I count none. Come on @RexallDrugstore it's not enough to hang a Canadian flag in the window. @CANSCAIP @twuc @kidsbookcentre @ONLibraryAssoc @HelenKubiw

Moments like these is why I teach. After 24 years in education, seeing my student receive the OYAP award is a reminder of the passion, hard work, and dedication that shape the future. So proud of this achievement - this is what it's all about 🥳 #proudTeacher #wcdsbawesome

Our children have lost attention stamina. They don’t even have it for recreational activities. Parents - at birth, please incorporate time into your child’s life to develop attention stamina. Let them be bored for a day. Have them create things from their own mind. Let them outside to play with nothing but basic toys. Teachers see the impact of screen based childhoods every day and it’s not good. At all.
