Long time no say — but I’m at the Podcast Show today for work. Would be great to share ideas about on-demand audio artwork, analytics/data reporting and new formats for local and regional audiences. #PodShowLDN

Happy 50th birthday today to @BBC_Cumbria (and the former BBC Radios Carlisle, and Furness) - that I grew up listening to, and eventually became part of about 25 years later. And thanks to all the familiar on-air voices over the years who've encouraged me.

I've been chatting to Zelda fans this week about why the new game's so important to them, and how it's helped them through tough times.
Thanks so much to everyone who shared their experiences with me for this article (my first for the website!)

Bittersweet moment presenting the last interactive bulletin on Alexa from our Digital Audio News team.
Here's a picture of me with my number one fave colleague. We'll miss you Alexa! ♥️
FYI if you ask for BBC News on Alexa smart speakers, it’s going to sound different from today because our interactive news bulletin service has ended.
You’ll still get a shorter news update followed by your local news and weather (if you’re signed in to your BBC account)

Enys Men? Great, excellent — like bathing in Cornish unease. A #film of the year.
Not everyone agrees — shout out to the person I overheard after the screening who thought it would have worked better as a series… fedi.lmcly.fyi/@lee/10971729…
Binged the second season of WSJ’s Bad Bets podcast about EV trunk company Nikola and its founder. There’s this fun moment when the host realises on of the guests recorded a phone call which is very relatable
