Fancy free virtual access to the Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival this year or next?

7) We cannot simultaneously claim that to deliver a safe anaesthetic you need a medical degree and years of training, whilst also claiming that all you need is a undergrad science degree and 2 years additional training. This fails logic.
After 4 nightshifts, being able to enjoy the sunshine and have time to unwind was much needed today. Love this place 🥰 ☀️
One last exam to do. Why am I the least motivated to study for it than I have ever been before?!
Can’t even face an hour of revision.
Send help/ motivational quotes 😂

🚨 It's crazy that the NHS has told 350 doctors training in anaesthesia that the NHS has no job for them after 3 years training.
At the same time we have massive shortages of, you guessed it, anaesthetists. These self-defeating bottlenecks defy logic. Statement from @RCoANews

We didn't have parties to "boost morale"
We didn't have quiz nights
We didn't have champagne
We watched our colleagues die though
We were STEEPED in death
We kept going
We had to
We kept on
So don't you DARE say your parties were "necessary" @borisjohnson
You make me sick.
