Fixed yet another couple of plot issues for DuskWIP and though I have some more to work on later, it’s getting stronger by the day! Creeping up to 32k in the WIP so far ✨

I’ve passed the 30k in my WIP 🎉 I’m a little over a third and just started chapter 15 out of 40. Goal: finish the first draft by the end of November!

I finished my fourth chapter for my second POV character and have finally caught up with the main plot I had already written so now I can go back to writing both my POVs side by side and it’s going to be so much easier!

Surprising myself by managing to write an average of 300 words a day so far since I’ve been on holiday even though I didn’t think I’d get anything done given I’m visiting family and friends. Hope I can keep this up!

Enjoying time with family and taking a much needed break so I’ll probably be on here a bit less over the next few days ✨

I’ve had a mad few weeks and I’m feeling slightly burned out so I’m so glad to be on holidays for a week and that I get to visit family and friends and just breathe for a bit! Also managed to write 1000 words today before I needed to travel so now I can just relax ✨

Another 1000 words written for DuskWIP today despite the mad day I’ve been having ✨

Wrote 1300 words today and finished a chapter 🎉 Happy to say that it looks like my end word count will be closer to 90k words after all, if my current word count/number of chapters written is any indication.

Anyone has good cozy mystery movies they can recommend me? I’m really in the mood to watch something in the style of Knives Out but can’t seem to find much online…

I’m proud of myself today because despite my costochondritis having been flaring up for two days and a mean headache plaguing me all day, I still managed to write my 1000 words after work!

Wrote almost 1200 words today and it feels nice to start getting back into the writing grove! Aiming to be done with my first draft by end of November 💪🏻 (bit of a challenge but I can probably manage it)

First chapter of my new POV written ✅ Three more to write and I’ll have caught up with where I left off the main POV and then I can go back to writing linearly (which just tends to work best for me)

Just made myself a mulled apple and pear juice and it’s so lovely and cosy ✨

Wrote my 1000 words, so now I decided to go full on cozy autumn mode and read for a while with a nice drink and snacks 🍂

Finished fixing all my outline and now I can start writing again 🎉 went from 30 chapters planned to 40, so that’s 30 chapters left to write ✨

Just made it into a maybe pile for an agent I expected a direct rejection from and I’m taking that as a huge win!

Just finished weaving my second POV into my main outline 🎉 just need to make some extra adjustments and fix a couple of issues my main outline has been having, then I can go back to drafting with full speed ahead!

My second POV for DuskWIP is officially outlined and split into chapters! All I need to do now is weave it with my primary outline and make some adjustments and I can go back to drafting ✨
