The Bristol Council Leader @TonyDDyer just promised more millions in guaranteed rent to L&G.
That’s public money at serious risk.
The Bristol Greens are not a serious party.
Green council leaders have written to the Prime Minister warning that local government is in financial crisis.
They're calling for urgent action to stop more cuts to the services our communities rely on.
ALT Open letter from the Green Party (logo top right). It is a letter from Green Council leaders urging the Prime Minister to address austerity-hit local councils, describing service cuts and financial crisis and listing demands including an emergency accommodation fund, proper council funding for SEND, suspended debt repayments and enforcement.

Example of a recent FOI request to Bristol City Council that was refused. But after a review BCC agreed it should not have been refused. At least it didn't have to go to the ICO for a decision this time.
This is how BCC frustrate and delay freedom of information requests.

This is incredible. They actually didn’t spend on SEND and education so Colston’s hall could get its millions & Rees a plaque.
“Among the many budgets raided to fund this elitist concert hall are the schools budget (£5.9m); the SEND investment programme (£3.9m)”

Yew Tree Farm is under attack!
Now someone has turned up to flail all the hedges!! 😱
The whole of the farm and it's hedges are part of a Sites of Nature Conservation Interest - an SNCI.
This is wrong!
I am about to be subjected to the third month of planning committee hell. Please share to let the powers that be in Bristol know how much we care about nature protections. 🙏 Thank you. #toomuchstress @DanicaPriest @avonwt @BristolTreeFora @SaveUrGreenbelt

Framework emphasises strengthening the local food economy, supporting local businesses and suppliers...
...And yet @BristolCouncil plans to turn parts of Yew Tree Farm into a cemetery losing valuable land and facilities development.
