As we have seen the response to student protests in America has been to create the perfect neoliberal university - no students no academics, only administrators and cops, in Dublin we are seeing the perfect neoliberal public space: no public, just fences.
The Grand Canal has been cleared of tents, and barricades have been erected along the south side, more being put in place along the north side of the canal #GrandCanalOperation
