we were talking about 'good' and political power earlier in philosophy class... thought abt pre-serum steve rogers and how ppl perceive steve's value as inherently tied to the serum; someone having good intentions is never enough, goodness is useless without the power to enact it

but goodness isn't just in the action itself, but also the influence that the thought alone can bring to those around u... he may have not had the power to act upon it before, but ppl (like bucky) saw him for the man he was, and was inspired by his ideals...
