Louisianans know there is no such thing as a permanently red state! Thanks to everyone who came out this morning in New Orleans to support Jamie Davis and Rep. Troy Carter.

This is unconscionable
SAF air strikes kill 102 unarmed civilians in Nyala, with a 113 more wounded during the attack.
Bombs have reportedly hit residential areas across the city, including the Tongonaj Market.
The attack comes as part of a broad aerial campaign in Sudan with the SAF continuing to target civilian areas despite calls for de-escalation and peace.

Angie Nixon: Cubans fleeing a failed system, a dictatorship and an embargo that hasn’t worked for 60 years and now facing an increasingly authoritarian regime here that is DENYING them adjustment of status and worse, DEPORTING THEM BACK, sometimes to places they’ve never been.
Truly fascinated if anything comes from this

Louisiana pollster John Couvillon (@WinWithJMC) still believes that Letlow will win, he told The Lens.
But “this is not going to be a slam dunk race for [her] I am seeing defections from Rs toward Ds about the 12% range”.

More progress from Dems or Republicans? /genq
Thanks!
Everyone expects E-Day to be red but also NPAs will break to Dems by 17-20 points
If the electorate is R+3 once you factor NPAs, you would rather be Nixon/Jolly

Sadly this was easily predictable bc there was no reason Florida, a state w/ massive Hispanic and Black population likely to revert and low-income white non college population, a demo that has shifted greatly post-Tariffs was going to be as blue as 2024

I founded Fair Fight because every eligible voter deserves to register, cast a ballot, and have that ballot counted. With Election Day almost here, we must turn outrage into action.

Walking the line outside the Trump rally in Corinth, I was reminded that more unites us than divides us here in Mississippi. I heard from folks who want to get foreign money out of our elections, put an end to flock cameras, keep our border secure, and make sure our veterans are taken care of.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to talk with me and share what matters most to them. When I’m elected to the U.S. Senate, I’ll represent every Mississippian — whether you voted for me or not. That’s what the job is all about. #MississippiMatters

I would argue like @yunggoonologist and @jdpoliticsZA it’s tracking to be R+3, maybe R+5

I was referring to broader more informal network of Louisiana Democrats and their affiliates not solely ascribing this to the state party alone but my apologies

frankly and in no uncertain terms the turnout operation is not of the party but of the candidates namely Jamie Davis and Lauren Jewett operations in the SELA area.
Louisiana could end up with a D+4 EV electorate due to Black turnout outperforming their *population share* of 30% and hitting generational levels
@LaDemos GOTV operation should be the story of the nation this EV cycle!!

Sorry I meant the broader network of Democrats in LA not just the party itself
