A moat never made a castle impregnable. It slowed attackers down. The wider and deeper it was, the more time it bought.
The industry made it sound like “moat” means high immunity from competition.
But I think moats will remain as long as people are involved.

Good question! TinySD stops at the block device. If the card disappears mid-write, you'll get an error back, and you can re-init the card once it's back. If your files need to survive interrupted writes, a filesystem like littlefs is a great fit.
I’m releasing it under a permissive license (MIT), in the hope it can be a useful building block for other embedded projects. Excited to see it out in the wild!
TinySD just reads and writes raw blocks, so you can bring your own filesystem. It pairs nicely with ChaN's FatFs, littlefs, etc.
It ships with an SDHCI host driver for SD Host Controller versions 1 to 3, plus a simple interface for adding your own hosts. If you’re bit-banging the bus or driving it with PIO, CRC and framing helpers are included too.
I built this after writing "just enough SD" for three separate bare-metal projects, and deciding it was time to do it properly. Everything else either forced a filesystem on me or was framework-specific.
TinySD supports SD memory cards (SDSC, SDHC and SDXC) and SDIO devices, both with high speed support. No dynamic allocation, and no threads, callbacks or interrupts required.
I’m open sourcing TinySD, a dependency-free C library for SD cards and SDIO on embedded and bare-metal systems - github.com/loopj/tinysd

I would *love* this to be true, but I predict a world where, in the US at least, that companies force legislative changes to restrict reverse engineering of commercial products.
Mitch keeps the title of legend for doing this, library looks super clean, bt stack agnostic. No notes.

I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all.
The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field.
If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use.
This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live.
Some of the interesting pages:

There are other views as well, take a browse.
Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo
If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live.
If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated.
I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well.
I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem.
Let the feedback flow!

I wanted to share some pictures of something I've been working on for fun: A Nintendo Switch Lite SP! This mod will give the Switch Lite a folding form factor to make it closer to a 3DS!
