This is the moment I realize I don't have final copies of my own fics. I always make final edits on ao3 in a rush of panic. Anyway if you read them anywhere else and like them, I hope to see you when they're back.

Writing has been hard lately. I'm constantly overworked, plus my family has been through some health issues, so I'm fucking exhausted. I feel like my blff fics will be disappointing. I don't think I'll commit to any other festivals any time soon.

This came up in my TL and made me realize I'm super obsessive with this when I write kidfics. I'll go by memory, thinking about kids in my life, but then I'll read articles and forums to make sure I'm not saying something stupid 😅

I've slowly had to phase out reading kidfics because I'm getting pickier and pickier about the characterization and realistic developmental milestones* *developmental milestones = not having a six year old speak in baby talk or a three year old spill the secrets of the universe
