The fact we can't tell if teacher salaries are meeting minimum wage laws shows we have deep problems with the structure of teacher pay and conditions.

5 years ago today the schools closed. We went home not knowing when they would fully open again.
The way schools managed that period of distress and uncertainty was incredible and i don't think education has ever truly received the credit it deserves for that action.
