I was going to stay out of this but I’ve seen enough to not stay quiet. The organization they’ve partnered with for a LAN does not have a venue reservation, let alone anything secure. They’re promising things they can’t deliver on, and making it a selling point. On top of that, they’re claiming “VLR updates” and otherwise, and meanwhile VLR doesn’t even know what they are. They’re forcing people to play at shit times, with the worst format known to man, and charging out the ass for a tiny ass prize pool. They lied a ton last year and they’re continuing to lie this year. Get out of this horrible tournament, I’ll fucking run more for free if I need to because these clowns stole your money.
