I'm going to start posting on here so I'll introduce myself. I've been an entrepreneur since I could remember. Over time I became obsessed with two things, commercial real estate and technology. I started investing in real estate at 18 and built my own AI underwriting system in 2025 to analyze more deals than I could on my own. Shortly after that I realized how poorly the real estate industry was run, and that the system I built for myself could be built for the entire industry. A month later I started Rets AI. Raised my first round of funding while still in college and then dropped out. After that, I closed a $15.5M valuation cap raise, and am now building the AI-native operating system for commercial real estate investment firms. Excited to post the journey here on X.

Last October, Rets AI was a clunky chat box. This October, it runs an entire investment firm from one platform. No single release in between felt significant in any sense, but each release was built on top of the last every day for a year. AI has made people expect results instantly, and it's easy to forget that what works is unglamorous: small improvements, every day, for longer and with more attention to detail than other people are willing to do. Whatever you do, the end result will always reveal the work you put into it.

Build your own proactive AI agents that work with your data 24/7 The goal for the Rets AI platform is that the work is done before you know it's there Push autonomy to the limit, build your own AI agents with natural language, put them to work inside your firm

Probably one of the best automations I’ve setup recently. Every time I get an important email, I get a text message notification I try to respond to every email within 5 minutes no matter what As simple as it sounds, it stops me from checking my inbox a hundred times, shows our users we are there for them, and is one less thing to worry about

Since the start of Rets AI, our vision has been to let every investment firm run on one centralized, AI native platform that replaces their stack of software tools. When all your data lives in one place, you have more visibility to make better decisions, buy better deals, and stop losing capital to what slips through the cracks. Today we got one step closer to that vision. New website live. rets.ai

Rets.ai now connects to Claude via MCP This acts as a bridge from Claude to the Rets AI platform so you can easily transfer and use data from and to your Rets AI platform Onward!

Every firm has things slipping through the cracks it doesn't know about. Having AI simply sit over the top of your operation and catch those is worth more than anything it could write for you.

The people who run commercial real estate firms in the future will be those who spent their early careers building relationships with operators and capital allocators while simultaneously understanding how to put compute to work across the firms operations. The relationship side takes years. There is no way to compress the reps of getting into rooms, earning trust, learning how markets actually move, and developing the judgment to deploy capital. That part has always been slow and it will stay slow. The generation that grew up using these tools has an advantage the industry has never seen before. They do not need to be taught how to use AI. They need to learn the fundamentals of real estate. Meanwhile, established operators understand the business, but native fluency with compute is something most will never develop. The rare person who commits to mastering both operates with leverage that previously did not exist.
