“Into the Groove” was released in 1985 for the soundtrack of Desperately Seeking Susan and became Madonna's first #1 single in the UK. Although it was never commercially released as a single in the US, it became one of her signature songs through extensive radio airplay and helped drive the soundtrack's success.
On 13 July 1985, Madonna performed the song at JFK Stadium during Live Aid. Fresh off the controversy surrounding the publication of nude photographs taken early in her career, Madonna joked to the Live Aid audience "I ain't taking shit off today".

We mourn the passing of Patrick Stewart, who inspired countless individuals at NASA (and beyond) to boldly go where no one has gone before.
I’ve got a long way to go with my Madonna CDs (and I’m sorry it’s not in chronological order right now 💀) but I am very happy hunting and playing all these
really gotta thank Jennie because at some point I was obsessed with the charts in relation to Ruby and she goes bonking heads by not releasing digitally and remind me about enjoying and immersing in her music and nothing else.
I am extremely biased for Mantra because of my emotional connection to that moment it was released like we waited YEARS for that very minute 😂😭
