introducing audiOS, a voice-only iOS keyboard – built for serious on-the-go dev work
it somehow ended up changing how I use my phone for everything else
a few months ago, I went all-in to port my full dev stack over to my iphone. tmux, ssh, claude code, nvim, the whole lot, but the actual human interface was still wrong.
this is what it was missing
bringing my obsession with @jugendingenieur and their playful design language front and center, this keyboard has completely changed the way that I interact with my phone
and yes, this was scored by the one and only OP-1
about time I jailbreak my kindle scribe
gonna sidequest this to see how far I can push it
had claude walk me through the kindle vera jailbreak where you download a pdf that exploits privilege escalation path, which grants you root access to then do anything on the linux distro
next up I had claude establish remote control over usb so it can execute root linux syscalls on the scribe
I’m thinking of completely replacing the OS and/or firmware with a custom one
I keep seeing this billboard and find it absolutely hilarious
because yes, AI can fix my A/C and so much of blue collar home service industries are going to get fucked when homeowners catch on
(eg why would I pay an electrician $400 to fuck around when I can just fix the damn thing myself)
“One thing surprised me near the end: how often my mind returned to very small memories. Not big achievements, not major decisions, not big failures. Just small, simple moments, sitting with a friend, laughing about something silly, watching the sky turn orange, holding a cup of warm tea on a cold day,”
reminder that moments of bliss are what you remember most when faced with your own mortality
