Halloween get-up + future Con cosplay gear arrived in the mail! Day 1 mock half-application I think is really getting there. More hair wax on the day and this will be 'something' I hope. (Also 2 full-sized realistic foam sword props MIGHT be in the mail and arriving Thursday...)

PSA: If you are ever starting a Tweet with anything along the lines of 'I will never understand...' then perhaps it may be wise and prudent to obtain some understanding before then re-examining and reframing said draft.

A bit over a week into my actual prescription trial contact lenses now. And I'm loving them. (still can't hide the crow's feet any more remains the only downside 😅)

A wonderful blessing to have our bishop - The Rt. Rev. Eric Menees of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin - with us to celebrate our Patronal Feast today, concelebrating Holy Eucharist with Fr. Luke & Confirming Janice Van Ornum

Secular work day-retreat yesterday using the DISC personality profile model & the 'Taking Flight' framework (where they map the traits to birds, yeah it's a thing apparently). Most of it is self-reporting-bias fluff, but this page was extremely enlightening. Be careful folks lol

With great concern for our province and with hope for greater transparency, we believe that the provincial announcement about the end of the Chancellor’s Inquiry is an insufficient explanation. The encouragement, endorsement, and subsequent announcement of an inquiry by agreed upon and experienced diocesan chancellors with access to all records was a sign of hope for transparency. With its retraction, we are left wondering how trust will be built unless there is follow-through. Before the Ruch trial concluded, the court itself volunteered to “issue its findings and all of the evidence that supports those findings in an order, appropriately redacted where necessary to protect vulnerable individuals” (Response to Resignation Letter, July 23, 2025). We ask only that they would keep their word. Yet we do not lose heart, for we are convinced that all things are possible through our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us in prayer for the Anglican Church in North America, the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, and our shared mission for the spread of the Gospel 2/2 #acna

Family Thanksgiving Dinner & OnlyFans were NOT two things side-by-side on my 'sermon application planning' bingo card, how ever... that is precisely what happened for last Sunday.

Friday was a riot with this rented machine over 200 miles. Capped off by arriving in-style at a fundraising evening dinner for a local pregnancy support centre with our 92 year-old organist in the passenger seat (who was a great sport). Yes I did try 'RACE START' just once. Ooof.
