🇺🇸: Teen dies after falling from fourth floor of Highland Park high school following classroom fight.
On Sept. 30, 2026, Xavier Nungarary, a 17-year-old senior at Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park, died after going over a fourth-floor railing around 1 p.m. and being pronounced dead at a hospital.
Videos show another student punching him in a classroom while a teacher tried to stop the fight; he then ran into the hallway and went over the railing.
Police reported no evidence of foul play, and the circumstances of the fall remained under investigation.
