Gambling-related suicides in Ontario have tripled since Doug Ford’s PCs privatized online casino games and sports betting in 2022.
I asked the Minister of Health what she’s doing to address this crisis. @SylviaJonesMPP failed to offer solutions that actually tackle the root causes of gambling addiction.
The government must act now. Stop advertising online gambling. Prevent gambling harm before it happens.

My view re: BC elections.
We honestly need wealth tax to stop the power imbalance of oligarchs and foreign owned media from making a mess of Canada.
The people didn’t give up on the Liberal party if we have a Liberal PM in power and yet the party in BC switched names and bailed out on the elections to endorse the Conservatives. That is not normal.

The Liberal rebranding to BC United followed with them suspending their electoral campaign to endorsed the Conservative Party was the only reason why the Conservatives won. The system went abnormal and the media didn’t talk about it enough because Postmedia is conservative and oil biased foreign media. The powers behind both the Liberals and Conservatives are the same business guys: Bronfmans, Desmarais, Oil companies & developers rigged this mess. Canada’s oligarchs won not BC citizens.
The Epstein files show Jeffrey Epstein was very much interested in LNG and Natural Gas in Western Canada. We need to understand his links to that sector to prevent risks. He operated in BC.
In Canada the oil and gas industry has become increasingly capital-intensive and concentrated among a few foreign-controlled firms. Further expansion is likely to benefit foreign owners rather than workers.
