Tatsuki Fujimoto says his Method of creating characters is making himself the protagonist even with Denji: "For me, there's just one thing: making myself the protagonist. This is because other writers have told me that not projecting yourself into the work will make it seem fake. In Look Back the unpleasant aspects of Fujino are things I possess, and the way Kyomoto praises something is also me. It was the same with Denji in Chainsaw Man and Agni in Fire Punch. When I write characters that aren't me I can't immediately think of the actions they might take, or it ends up sounding fake."

is there any chainsaw man inktober this year..? searching and cannot find any 💔
