Ten days ago I opened a "secret" auction page on the luwud site and tested it by offering a custom, uncensored shikishi to luwudcord.
The auction ended today and I didn't think it would go this high.

Story time.
There's this small hole in the wall bar behind the Youmacon convention center here in Detroit called Tommy's. I walk in today and an old guy greets me at the door. I pull up a seat next to him at the bar. He introduces himself as Tommy, the owner. I tell him his bar has saved me every year for the past five years as the only place with a hot kitchen still open after dealer hall closes. I tell him I've had every burger they make, spilled their hot wing sauce on my hotel sheets more than a few times, and come back every year for their perfectly crispy tater tots. He shakes my hand, welcomes me back as family, gives me his number, tells me I can call anytime, and orders me a fresh bowl of butter with popcorn in it. This popcorn definitely took a year of my heart health but dang is it awesome.
None of my artist friends (F) trust me when I tell them to come with me to the sussy bar behind the con. (And I never explain myself.) But I hope everyone brave enough to walk the downtown streets of Detroit stops by to say hi to Tommy and tell him some random guy from Texas said his bar is great.
