I sometimes tear up when I see the people i mentored still mapping. Even though the mentoring wasn't really productive, I hope that the memories i brought them was fun. Cause I believe that was always what actually mattered. Always. Bringing the joy I had of mapping to others.

That isn't to say that my mentees are only mapping because of me. However, I think that at the very smallest extent, I made their experience in mapping something worthwhile to stay for. Which I am glad for.
