בוועדת הבחירות המרכזית אין חשש כרגע לפגיעה בטוהר הבחירות. גם במשטרה אומרים כי נכון לכרגע אין ראיות ומוסיפים כי גם לא היו אירועים חריגים בקלפיות של החברה הערבית, בניגוד לטענת הליכוד. אותם גורמים מדגישים כי לעומת הבחירות הקודמות, במערכת הבחירות הנוכחית יש הרבה פחות תלונות במשטרה בנוגע לטוהר הבחירות (טענות להתחזות וזיופים) - עד אתמול בלילה התקבלו כ-50 תלונות לעומת 75 בבחירות הקודמות.
