As AI lowers the barrier to building software, reaching users and gaining distribution are becoming increasingly important challenges for developers.
Pi offers an existing distribution network and utility-based ecosystem where developers can connect their applications with more than 60 million Engaged Pioneers, alongside infrastructure for app discovery, user authentication, Pi payments, and other capabilities.
The ecosystem also includes over 300 Mainnet apps, a network of more than 420,000 Nodes, and over 18.1 million fully KYC’d users.

Pi Desktop version 0.6.4 has been released!
The update makes remote access to SoloHost apps much easier by eliminating the need to configure home routers. Pi Desktop now handles the connection setup, making it simpler for Pioneers to access SoloHost apps, such as local AI agents, running on their computers through Pi Browser on their phones.
The release also provides more protection measures for SoloHost users, checking apps on their access rights before installation and each time they start. These checks help restrict the app’s access to only their own files, not to other files on the computer.
