Arsenal is becoming a toothless club catering to the whims of one man.
Arsenal are contemplating selling William Saliba to balance the books after Arteta’s new contract, which could put the club in a financial quagmire.
Mikel Arteta’s previous contract was reported at about £10 million per year basic salary, plus up to £5 million in bonuses (potential total around £15 million). New reported figures put it around £20 million per year, with some sources citing £20–25 million annually or roughly £17 million basic plus up to £3 million in bonuses. This significant increase makes him the highest-paid manager in the Premier League after Pep Guardiola’s departure and second in the world below Inzaghi in the Saudi league.
How can Arteta subject Arsenal to such a dilemma? At a time when the priority should be becoming the best in the world and winning major trophies in Europe and domestically, the club wants to sell its best player like Saliba and has already planned to cut 60 jobs, rendering hundreds jobless, just because Mikel Arteta decided to be a glutton to the club that trusted and backed him for years with heavy financial support in its entire history.
Mikel Arteta is already discussing an improved contract offer for Kai Havertz, who has been on £285k a week since 2023, constantly injured and below par. Kai should take a pay cut to stay beyond his contract ending in 2028 instead of an improved offer when 60 jobs are being cut to save costs.
The Arsenal team photo for the class of 2026/27 without William Saliba is not a mistake but a step towards the future that Arteta’s greedy contract and his favourite player Kai’s new offer have forced on our club. No one should be seen as greater than our club, and especially Mikel Arteta and Kai Havertz should be grateful Arsenal gave them the platform and support to stay relevant.
Y'all have been starved enough, but Arsenal is certainly not your regular kind of meal. Wait for Manchester United or Chelsea and Liverpool. Flewtwood can’t donus nothing

Work hard stay silent, let your success do the talking. Bukayo saka and harry didn’t engage in any ballon d’Or campaign but look at them now.

a man should be able to take an L without turning every conversation into an excuse for why he lost.

imagine finding a woman who sends you random voice notes, challenges your opinions, steals your food, and somehow makes doing absolutely nothing together feel like the best part of your week.
I’ve moved on from Alex Song and can’t even remember Partey because the team improved drastically in his absence and won the league. What are you still grumbling about?
You’re not informed
The biggest robbery in Ballon d’Or history isn’t Messi robbing Erling Haaland, Messi robbing Lewandowski, or Messi robbing Sneijder.
It’s Cristiano Ronaldo not even being nominated for the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
Ronaldo scored 54 goals in 2023, finishing as the highest goalscorer in world football, ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane, who both scored 52 goals. 😭🐐
Where is the justice in the system?

Bayern
Madrid
Psg
Barca
Etc
Are all good and possible for Arsenal but Liverpool at anfield is the ultimate test, if we beat them at anfield this weekend, I will believe we can win it all
Can Mikel Arteta Arsenal finally do it this weekend??
Lamine Yamal’s performances for Spain and Barcelona this year after the World Cup, where he was abysmal, do not count for this year’s Ballon d’Or. All things being equal, Harry Kane should win it, with Olise second and Kylian Mbappé third.
Ballon d'Or ranking is seriously biased; however, for the first time the number one was fair, shifting focus from other shocking rankings. Voting journalists contribute majorly to the bias via nepotism and favoritism. Some still can't accept other players outshining their favorites. Appalling.
Thank you for sharing this. Sometimes the football community forgets these guys are humans, and what goes on around them messes up their psyche. Vinicius particularly has faced racial abuse and unjust treatment from Madridistas and rivals. I feel even the chin surgery was due to external pressure.
I think Real Madrid fans are overlooking two things when discussing Vinícius Jr.'s dip in form.
1. The constant abuse, hostility and pressure he faces.
2. The possibility that the noise surrounding his personal life is affecting his peace.
I'm not saying Virginia is the problem. We don't know what happens behind closed doors.
But Vini is human before he's a footballer. His performances deserve criticism, but pretending everything outside the pitch is irrelevant is unfair too.
Maybe it's a football issue. Maybe the pressure contributes. Maybe it's a combination of things.🤔

It hurts when you realise you’re not lazy, you’re actually trying your best, but your best still isn’t getting you the life you want
Hello @ballondor, I hope you’re aware of what’s happening to sham city—sorry, Manchester City. I believe you’re also in tune with the Barca corruption scandal.
Be mindful of your awards. Last year’s top three players were Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Kylian Mbappé.
While this year’s selections weigh individual impact and team success, Kane led last season’s scoring and ranks second only to Lionel Messi for calendar-year goals. Bayern Munich’s success, his England impact, and his role in their World Cup bronze also matter.
Do with this what you wish.
