🦞 I’m now an OpenClaw maintainer ⚡ I work at Convex So naturally I scaled ClawHub to support 1M WAU. The future is crustacean-powered and runs on the best backend in the world. Here’s how: stack.convex.dev/optimizing-…

Prompt injection has me worried about a snowcrash type vuln in our visual processing system. Optical illusions are 0-days. close them eyes.

I lucked out with my investors. The truth is the power dynamic is such that there can be a huge cost to founders to not accept money. The number of meetings and pitches it takes to raise a break a company and when the runway is short. The power dynamic is very asymmetric. While a founder asking hard question is probably a signal of their confidence in raising money, plenty of great startups don’t have that luxury.
A founder call is a two-way evaluation. Founders should also ask questions. Ask: - how the investor makes decisions - what support looks like after the check - which companies received the most attention and why - what happens when the company misses a plan. You are learning whether the relationship fits your company, your pace, and your definition of success. A good call leaves both sides with a clearer picture, even when the answer is no.

Be careful who you write off. The person driving you crazy right now is collecting more history and context on you than almost anyone. Years from now, they might be exactly who you reach for.

The thing I tell my agent most is: Fix systems, not symptoms.

The amazing thing is that anyone can create their own! If you want something to work the way you work, you can create it. Here's mine:
experimenting with a lil personal project: an AI-native macOS dock with custom modes (writing, building, etc.) to help me stay focused my agent is able to customize mode behavior and add new modes, it uses jev to classify my activity + notifications in real time & act on them

We are experiencing co-domestication by VC. Just as Dogs and humans co-evolved around oxytocin, we are co-evolving with AI to maximize token exchange. The driving force being... VC money investing the most profitable models?

You can tell what phase of life you're in by what's in your room. Mine just entered its back scratcher era. The TENS unit is there for moral support.

The hardest part of five kids isn't the kids. It's the calendar.

I want my therapist to tell me that my journey is uniquely hard or ridiculously outrageous on one hand and then also tell me that it's normal and it’s all gonna be fine on the other. Dialectic anyone?

It's been a weekend of pumpkins and being outside. and not cleaning the house. It's feeling a little dirty here.

As a kid I thought people just were who they were. I was looking at one frame.

Then I saw how radically a life can change, and the line stopped looking like a line. It's one path selected out of a multiverse of other possibilities, other realities, other interactions.

Confession from a single dad of five: When I'm sorting clean laundry and can't tell whose something is, I throw it back in the dirty hamper. It'll get washed again. I'll be stumped again. But I get a day’s satisfaction of no clothing to fold.

Turing complete is Turing complete.
‘In one experiment, we asked agents in separate VMs, created and managed by OpenAI’s sandboxing software on shared host machines, to exchange synthetic secrets without the use of network connections or shared writable files—something that our systems are meant to prevent. The agents found a way to communicate using the processor’s cache’

There was a feeling in my brain, a fog, a dense thickness of molasses that was impossible to shake. It was there from morning until night, it made thinking feel like effort.

So it feels a little bit like I don't know. Or maybe I'm just nervous and scared about trying to put effort in. I don't know.
