Al Pacino says he passed out with COVID in his apartment, woke up to five paramedics in his living room, and was told his pulse had stopped
"I felt I left the Earth when I passed out."
"Next thing I know, I open my eyes and there's five paramedics in my living room."
"And they were my doctors, but I couldn't recognize them from head to toe."
"But they said, my pulse had stopped."
The last thing he remembers is asking the name of the guy filling him up with fluids. Then he wakes up to two doctors in what looked like space suits, and his first thought is that it looks like a film set. Fifty years in front of cameras will do that.

The Pentagon is reportedly preparing bases to operate independently for 90 days, while governments across the West are telling people to prepare for major disruptions.
Pilkington’s point:
Power grids are hard to knock out completely through conventional attacks.
An EMP from a high-altitude nuclear detonation is a different story.
He’s not saying nuclear war is coming.
He’s saying governments are clearly thinking about scenarios they still don’t want to name.

At this point in the Canada-U.S. relationship, most Canadians seem to be resigned to the fact that America is damaged beyond repair. Americans elected Trump a second time knowing he would wreak havoc. Moreover, most Americans have remained silent as Trump attacks us. We are done.
