I’m as woke as next man (provided they are decent humans&follow common sense non hatred policies). But is ridiculous. Freedom of speech applies to everything legal verbal or non verbal. Poppies or Pride badges are fine. Could ask anyone they’d say same apple.news/A43a5tOPZTu-1x8fX…

Reporters didn’t tho need to run to Reform councillors for quotes. Out of the hundreds of people I know I can think of one person who’d be pro poppy ban. Because they’re as thick as mince and twice as daft. But they are anti everything so don’t really count in my definition.

It will be criminal if @BBC bin #DIYSOS. Exactly sort of show BBC has a charter for. BUT the production change to pretend there’s jeopardy at beginning of show ‘will we do it won’t we’ is a production error. Of course you will you’re on TV ffs. Show more of build!

Yet when any of them or their family or friends move to Spain they’ll refer to them as ex-pats. Go figure. If Tories had t closed legal routes to Asylum and negotiated a replacement for Dublin III on Brexit none of this would have happened. It’s why details&experts matter…
🚨 NEW: The village of Barnham will also hold a symbolic referendum on leaving the UK over Government plans to house asylum seekers at a former military base

It is disgraceful that Andy Burnham took an hour out to appear on Gogglebox just to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. If he's going to do a TV show he should do what I did and pocket £1.5million for eating some kangaroo bollocks.

Right wing parties included words like National or Socialist or others in their Party titles to attract voters who couldn’t read history or understand the deception. From Austria to Czechoslovakia and more. And still catching people out today including worlds richest man 🤣
She wins 🏆 the internet for tonight!

🚨 Borussia Dortmund have launched a brilliant new initiative to reward supporters who stay off their phones during home matches. 📱🇩🇪 Their new 'Fan Mode' allows fans to earn points for every minute their phone remains locked, with signed shirts and club shop vouchers up for grabs. The scheme follows a survey revealing that 63% of match-going supporters regularly use their phones during games.

Carrick just sacked himself. If he’d dropped Fernandes no one would have disagreed. Having on bench&not using is madness. Putting Zeberdee or wtf his name is dead man walking stuff. Sad to see him waiving goodbye mind. He didn’t pay £50m for Santos or other rubbish signings

If you look at Man Utd squad how many would get in other top 5 squads? None of their summer signings - Jason Wilcox as technical director after 1 seasons at Southampton in same role…says it all.

Trump: “My uncle invented radar....From MIT. Dr. John Trump....He'll probably be upset that I took out Iran's radar.” Who wants to tell him that radar was invented by Scottish physicist Robert Watson-Watt in 1935? How embarrassing.

Don’t get Carrick. If you want to punish Fernandez leave him out if squad. Not have him sneer ‘told you’ at your back from behind you on bench 😂

I’m taking draw all day long before kick off. Thought we were much better than recent weeks. Good game for Alfie is type of game&conditions. Before he went off Southwood was excellent. Right place right time so often. Sending forwards on loan increasingly looks crap decision #utg

With the likelihood of a recall by-election imminent, I have taken a lesson from my friend Donald Trump and decided to bribe the people of Clacton with £250,000. This seems easier than doing any actual work or holding a single surgery.

The latest hot news that we will definitely not be holding a press conference about is that yesterday there were by-elections in three district councils, one city council and one county council and Reform lost in all of them. Our unstoppable march to power continues.

Plus most countries give Ukraine weapons/ammunition at end of shelf live that there’s no way they’d use in time or have already replaced.
No, @elonmusk, the U.S. stopped funding Ukraine last year. In fact, U.S. companies make money on American weapons for which we Europeans pay. The more you meddle in our politics and the more you play politics with your products, the more you damage your brand.

They’ll moan but I’m willing to bet this is about 2 games worth of travel and accomodation to away games for these clubs…to improve the whole pyramids governance
Premier League's highest-earning clubs will have to contribute up to £1.8m per season in the levy to help fund the new Independent Football Regulator’s £20m budget. Most PL clubs will pay £600,000 pa. Championship clubs not in receipt of parachute payments would pay around £45,000; League One clubs £9,000; League Two clubs £6,000; National League clubs will pay less than £600. IFR points out its £20m budget “represents 0.22% of English football industry’s annual £9bn revenues” and notes the PL had reported "administration expenses of more than £200m in 2024/25, and the EFL, which had administration expenses of £35m over the same period”. This will fund IFR: annual operating costs of £18.3m "based on a staffing level of around 100 people working from its head office in Manchester and satellite office in London”; £1m “to cover potential litigation costs associated with regulatory actions”; and the £1m recovery of IFR set-up costs. Regulator has already carried out advanced checks “on 40 owners, directors and senior executives to assess whether they are suitable stewards for clubs under the IFR ODSE regime”. Regulator has also assessed “several proposals for heritage changes to club crests, ensuring fans were properly consulted by clubs”. IFR says it now shifts focus “to building the licensing system for the 116 clubs it regulates – the engine room of the IFR which will enable it to spot risks and problems before they become a crisis”.
