Basically my (32f) boyfriend (35m) has a hard time getting off during sex. We can go for hours and he just can't get there. I also have a hard time, but when I get used to a new partner it becomes much easier. Our sex life started out great. We originally were just casual, then went on our first official date at the beginning of the year. I'm telling you, best sex of my life. Then spring hit, and just a sudden drop happened. I brushed it off as just a little rust for a month or so because he was stressed out. We then became officially in a relationship. Since then it's been 2-3 weeks every time. This current one will be 4 weeks this weekend... I brought this up in the summer and the conversation did not go well. I asked if it's usual for him to lose libido in relationships and he just kind of shut down. He is not great with communication and later that night he said he just felt like it meant he was a disappointment and not enough. I never want him to feel that way, expressed that was never my intention. And moved on without any clear answers. Fast forward to Sunday. We had been running around all day and he was tired, which is understandable, but I asked what might be going on to cause the laxk of sex in general. He didnt shut down quite like last time, which was certainly an improvement. I asked if him taking so long to get off was any reason and he said that was part of it. I know work wears him down, so im sure that and stress dont help.
