Is it long because the director needs room to thoroughly explore the visual and auditory possibilities of this story and situation? Bring on those butt-numbing runtimes.
Is it long because it ends with an artless 30-minute CGI fight scene? Burn it in hell.
Seasons 1 and 2 were unwatchable nonsense. Season 3 is better, but it’s still substituting emotionally manipulative nostalgia bait for good storytelling.

Maybe instead of making a sequel to The Rise of Skywalker they should pretend Rise of a Skywalker never happened and give ending the Skywalker saga a second try because Rise of Skywalker was the most unwatchable piece of shit to ever walk the sky.
