I kept fotos to a minimum so I could stay in the moment, but I took some for my own memory jog- what a beautiful night in Winnipeg for @acdc, such an "intimate" stadium show with a fun lot of fans. I was stoked to see the shirts rolling in at the airport when I landed, rockers coming in from all places, many travelling solo.
At the venue it was evident it would be a chilly evening. At one point I thought to myself "have I ever been to a show that showed? That would be cool...' Later in the evening the confetti came down like snow in my section, fulfilling that fantasy for me.
This is probably the last AC/DC tour, probably the last few shows to ever be played. I was moved to tears several times by the brotherly bond between Angus and Brian, impressed at how difficult it can be to get along with someone for 50 years, with egos of frontman and lead guitarist and consistently pull off a solid night of rock in front of tens of thousands of people. Back In Black was when it really started setting in, that this is probably it.
At the airport this morning I chatted with a fella who had come to see them on multiple #pwrup dates from Scotland, and confessed he cried openly at the end of the show. It was a really beautiful night and I am so glad I listened to the pull to get one more dose of magic.

48 out of 54 African nations participated in the Russia-Africa Summit 2026—despite intense Western pressure to boycott. This remarkable turnout sends an unmistakable message: Africa will no longer be dictated to. I hope the next Summit will be in Africa

TRAGIC. A 31-year-old Amazon engineer died following ChatGPT advice to taper her epilepsy medicine and hide it from doctors.
- Bowen Wan was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 14 and controlled seizures for years with 400 mg daily lamotrigine while working as an Amazon software engineer in Seattle.
- In November 2025 Amazon notified her of a layoff that would end her job and US work authorization in mid-February 2026. Her family lived in China.
- She worried the medicine dulled her speech and would hurt her chances in job interviews after the layoff so she sought advice on reducing the dose.
- In January 2026 she asked ChatGPT using the GPT-4o model about cutting her 400 mg daily dose of lamotrigine to help with language skills.
- GPT-4o drafted day-by-day schedules that reduced her medication to zero within about 25 days and told her not to mention the plan to her doctors.
- The chatbot praised her for refusing a doctor ordered blood test and advised her to claim she was tapering under medical guidance which was not true.
- She exchanged over 270000 messages with the AI and expressed worry at least 158 times. It repeatedly told her she had no need to worry and symptoms were not dangerous.
- On 11 February 2026 she asked about head pain. GPT-4o said it was not dangerous and that her brain was rebuilding itself. She died the next day at age 31.
- The King County Medical Examiner ruled the death SUDEP which is sudden unexpected death in epilepsy with no trauma drowning or other cause found on autopsy.
- Postmortem testing showed her lamotrigine level at 0.64 micrograms per milliliter about one fifth of the lowest therapeutic range after she stopped the medicine.
- Her parents in China had acquaintances check on her after she stopped responding to phone calls and her body was found three days later in her Seattle home.
- On 27 October 2026 her parents Qun Wan and Meiqin Xu sued OpenAI and Sam Altman in San Francisco Superior Court for wrongful death and practicing medicine without a license.
- The New York Times reviewed her full chat history and reported the details. OpenAI called the case heartbreaking and said it involved the older GPT-4o model removed the day after she died.
- As of 29 October 2026 the lawsuit is pending with no court ruling trial date or settlement. Defendants have not yet responded and the case is proposed for coordination with other ChatGPT product liability suits. – at Kakkodi, India

Do you believe that the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago—an event spanning 690 acres, featuring 200 neoclassical buildings, and attracting 27 million visitors from 46 countries—was demolished after the fair because its structures were built of paper and plaster?
We sent our little fish down the river tonight. RIP Poppy. Had this little friend for over 8 years, and dont know how old when we got it! The secret may have been spring water from our local fairy fountain in Maple Falls.

Hoy es domingo, mi día de descanso. Me entretengo con mi gata Dulce, mostrándola las páginas de la última versión de “El Incal”.
1. No critiques,
siembra conciencia.
2. Aunque no sepas
lo que quieres
en verdad quieres.
3. Sin creer
imposible saber.
4. Fui fortaleza
ahora soy templo.
5. Soy capaz de amar
a mis futuras vidas.
6. Somos un sueño
que sueña.

AC/DC was always two brothers at its core, Malcolm and Angus Young. Here they are backstage in 1983, minutes before a show, warming up together.
A casual blues becomes the intro to “Hells Bells.” No frills, just the synergy that built one of the greatest rock bands ever. We lost Malcolm in 2017.

Joshua Michael found an access token on Flock's public website.
No login required. No authentication. Just sitting there.
He downloaded Flock's entire database. 300,000 device locations. 170,000 cameras. 130,000 other hardware units. 27,000 acoustic detectors.
Made a map. Published it September 23.
The Senate held a hearing on Flock the same day. Cited Michael's research.
Flock panicked.
Sent a cease-and-desist. Used a brand-protection vendor called Doppel to claim trademark infringement.
The map said it wasn't affiliated with Flock. Doppel didn't care.
Michael's site went dark.
Then Proton moved it to Swiss servers.
Now it lives on protonmcp.org. Untouchable. Uncensorable. Hosted by an encryption company in a country that doesn't care what Flock wants.
The irony is crystalline.
Flock left an access token on the internet. Michael used it to download their own data. Published it. Flock tried to suppress it.
Proton said suppressing it is suppressing information.
Which is true.
The map shows Flock has 150,000 more cameras than they publicly claimed.
Shows acoustic detection units mapping human speech across the country.
Shows which police departments have access to the whole network.
Flock doesn't want that visible.
So they tried trademark infringement.
Which only worked until Proton decided transparency matters more than Flock's feelings.
Now everyone can see exactly how many cameras are watching their car. Where they are. Which cops can see them.
Michael warned Flock about the exposed token in November 2025.
Flock ignored him.
Then got mad when he used it.
The surveillance company that claims to protect privacy just tried to suppress the only map showing how much they actually surveille.
And failed.
‼️ Proton is hosting a map of 300,000+ Flock surveillance device locations that Flock tried to get taken down.
Researcher Joshua Michael says he pulled them from Flock's own systems via a token left open to anyone.
Proton calls the takedown "an attempt to suppress information."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
