Anthropic and Hg are putting engineers inside European companies. Second time this year, after Ode in the US.
The lab is telling you the model isn't the hard part. Getting it into the operation is.
Sponsors: name the P&L owner and the EBITDA target before anyone writes code.
HTEC surveyed 1,500 C-suite execs.
> 77% say people and process hold back AI value more than the tech does.
>71.5% can't fully see where AI is used.
More money into something you can't see is an ownership problem. Ask your portco CEO who owns the AI number. One name.
Netflix is cutting about 6% of its staff. Roughly 1,000 jobs across product, tech, legal and HR. Revenue was up 13% last quarter. The stock is down about 43% in a year.

A headcount cut is the signal, not the plan. The plan is the next 8 months: which revenue is real, what you can deliver, what work stops.
Cut once with a plan or cut twice without one.
Elizabeth Warren wants PE firms to pay the debts of the companies they break.
The bill is called the Stop Wall Street Looting Act. If a portco goes under, the sponsor would be on the hook for the remaining debt and pension obligations.
Usually, the debt isn't the problem. The problem is that the business can't make enough cash to carry it.
That's the part I care about, and it's where AI actually helps a portco. I've shipped 14 systems into live operations. One of them cut outside legal spending by 30 to 40 percent. Nobody put that on a slide. It showed up in the numbers.
If Congress ever does make sponsors own the downside, the companies that make their debt payments from operations won't care.
The ones that need the next refinancing to survive will.

The Rise of the Revenue Engineer
One of the most valuable B2B hires over the next 18 to 24 months may not be a VP of Marketing.
It may be a Revenue Engineer.
==> Think Don Draper meets Mr. Robot.
Someone who combines:
• Marketing taste and positioning
• Data and code
• AI agents and automation
• Deep customer understanding
• The ability to actually build things
Not another person making PowerPoints about the funnel.
Someone who can find a market opportunity Monday, build the experiment Tuesday, launch it Wednesday, and tell you by Friday whether it worked.
The payoff?
More leads.
Faster experiments.
Sharper positioning.
Lower customer acquisition costs.
Less dependency on bloated marketing teams.
A great Revenue Engineer, full time or fractional, could easily create $MILLIONS+ in annual value for the right company.
The interesting part?
Most companies don't have this role yet.
BUT ... They will.
are we still at the beginning of AI demand?
Al revenue today is fueled by maybe 10 million truly heavy users, mostly people trying to monetize or get a jump on the competition, or lower cost of operations
with a TAM of 1.5 billion global knowledge workers.
reports are that token consumption rose 100x since the start of the year 2026.
GrokBot users could exponentially grow monthly usage another 10-20x.
will we see a supply and demand issue by the end of the year where supply will shrink to a growing demand?
