People misjudged boruto so badly, but it was never about a bad son or a bad father.
He just wanted his father's presence, it was about two gen learning to understand each other. boruto learned the burden behind the hokage cloak, and naruto learned that his family needed him too

I'll always prefer a character that is flawed, it enables the audience to see them grow past mistakes like a real person and makes you feel more connected to them
