Recently, we have been at Buckler's Hard with the Bucklers Hard Shipyard Trust, where the team has been uncovering the secrets of the slipways.
In this photo, courtesy of Mary Montagu-Scott of the Shipyard Trust, our Director Garry and Rodrigo Ortiz Vazquez can be seen coring the clay deposits underlying slipway two.🪵
If you'd like to know more, or see how you can get involved, head to the Shipyard's Trust webpage at bhshipyardtrust.org.uk/

The Discovery Bus will be in the Harbour car park, Tenby from 9am to 5pm on August 20th, 2025 to promote work recently undertaken by Maritime Archaeology in the Celtic Sea region for The Crown Estate!
We will be presenting the maritime archaeology findings of the project as well as having the bus's usual hands on activities.
A Welsh staff member will be a part of the team at the event so come and say hello in whichever language you prefer!
