I live in formerly one of the safest conservative seats - things are changing. Local conservatives try to distance themselves from the national chaos but remember it was local conservative members who elected Liz truss to become pm - they are about to get a very rude shock.

After the investigation was published, veterans minister @JohnnyMercerUK said govt was aware of the rejections of these ex-commandos & committed to 're-engaging' w the Afghan relocation scheme (ARAP) to 'make sure there is integrity in that process'

Great point - editors and media owners sadly bending to pressure - BBC QT guilty too (Oakeshott is Tice partner). Tory factionalism tempts them to have 2 on right, one centre or left and one other.

The British public raise millions for homeless people at this time of year, and the government's response is to criminalise those charities.
This will do nothing to stop rough sleeping and will leave vulnerable people to face the harsh weather conditions without shelter.
