I felt the earthquake on Bathurst Island earlier today. Local community were as surprised as we were!
No #tsunami threat to Australia from #earthquake felt in #Darwin (magnitude 7.2 near Banda Sea). See bom.gov.au/tsunami.
Thank you to the Tiwi Island community for being so generous with your time sharing your story today. Great to meet Sr Anne Gardiner and many @TiwiBombersFC players who proudly represent their people.
Indigenous Immersion travelled to Bathurst Island (Tiwi) where we were all in awe of the beauty of the land and Tiwi people. We were made to feel very welcome and stories shared with us helped our understanding of indigenous culture. #WFCLearning @CEMelbourne @CarmelitesAET
