I’ve been doing Wing Tsun for the past year & one of its concept (as is the case in other MAs) is “bamboo-like legs”: high tensile strength yet tolerant to externally applied impact forces through flexural strength.
So, my current rabbit hole is WTF are bamboo legs in S&C?!

I am a first-year PhD student at the University of Essex. I’m looking to recruit members of competitive sports teams aged 16+ years to complete a short online survey about their perceptions of their coach and/or captain, team and teammates.
For young/ early career s&c coaches, attending conferences such as @uksca provides an extremely valuable opportunity to see/ hear different perspectives & to speak informally with a huge body of different practitioners & share opinions in real-life verbal conversations

So proud 🥇🥈
What a Games!!
Birmingham 2022 was Team England’s most successful Games ever! In total we won 176 medals, two more than our previous highest tally in Glasgow 2014 and 40 more than four years ago on the Gold Coast!
We are so proud of all our athletes!
