Looking back on Les Girafes 🦒
People from all over Bradford experienced a moment of magic this August as Les Girafes popped up in unexpected places, on their way to a grand finale in the centre of the city.
Did you see the show? Comment with your favourite memories!
The seven larger-than-life giraffes travelled all the way from France with acclaimed street theatre company, Compagnie OFF, to tell the story of a beautiful dancer and spectacular operah singer and their love for eachother, and of course, the giraffes ❤️
This is just a taste of what's to come in Bradford during our year as UK City of Culture! Don't miss a moment - join our mailing list to be the first to know: bradford2025.co.uk/sign-up/

I know there’s a lot of news around today - and a lot of sports news - but this is one of the greatest achievements by a British athlete, ever. I’m so happy he’s done it.

Hi @Alex_Ross_Shaw Not sure if you're the right person to ask but were thinking about taking some office space in Little Germany, but there's nowhere to lock up my bike! Any chance of council putting in some of those lovely lockers in the area?
Would love to hear the thoughts of @_RobbieMoore and @PhilipDaviesUK on this? At least you got that £20m for Keighley though Robbie
Laughter at Conservative conference when Lee Anderson is asked about cancelling HS2 and the impact it will have on local services, such as those to Bradford and replies: "Anyone here from Bradford? Would you want to get there quicker?" #CPC23
Desperate stuff @_RobbieMoore As if the @the_tpa has any credibility in 2023!
🏖️You could not make this up.
Labour claim to be voice of hardworking people - but it seems they are more interested in pouring Pina Coladas than delivering for Keighley & Ilkley.
About time they got off their sun loungers & got back to work ⬇️@the_tpa

Will you play your part?
