Rich Stearns (World Vision USA president, author of “Hole in our Gospel,” etc) invited me to lunch Wednesday. Great conversation! Some paparazzi took this picture of us in his boardroom… Had to share.
I love my job!

A new post @CTmagazine describes a religious landscape that is polarizing, much like the political one. Evangelicals are holding steady but mainliners have lost 2/3 of their members, while nones are on track to be the largest religion in the US soon.

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light:
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.
